Qualcomm's innovative RB3 Gen2 platform is specifically designed for industrial vision projects. The comprehensive hardware and software solution for IoT and embedded applications is based on Qualcomm's high-performance QCS6490 processor and provides high computing capacity, a 10x improvement in on-device AI processing, support for four 8MP+ camera sensors, computer vision and integrated Wi-Fi 6E.
RB3 Gen2 is the perfect platform for a wide range of robots, drones, industrial handheld devices, industrial and network-connected cameras, AI edge boxes and smart displays. The platform supports software updates via download, simplifying application development and integration as well as the creation of proof-of-concepts and prototypes.
In addition, the kits are compatible with the new Qualcomm Linux stack, allowing developers to access extensive support for all processor cores, subsystems and components within the platform when using the core and vision kits. In addition, the recently introduced Qualcomm AI Hub provides access to a variety of pre-optimized and continuously updated AI models for superior on-device AI performance, reduced memory usage and power-optimized operation. Both the Linux stack and the AI Hub enable more efficient development, long-term reliability and faster time-to-market.
