CUSTOMIZED INTEGRATION WITH QUALCOMM SOCS AND HIGH-END COMPONENTS

For industrial vision projects, the innovative Qualcomm RB3 Gen2 platform is particularly well suited. The comprehensive hardware and software solution for IoT and embedded applications is based on the high-performance Qualcomm QCS6490 processor and features powerful computing capabilities, 10x improvement in on-device AI processing, support for four 8MP+ camera sensors, computer vision and integrated Wi-Fi 6E.  

RB3 Gen2 can be used for a wide range of products, including various types of robots, drones, industrial handheld devices, industrial and networked cameras, AI edge boxes, and smart displays. The platform supports downloadable software updates, simplifying application development and integration as well as the creation of proof-of-concepts and prototypes. 

The new Qualcomm AI Hub enables RB3 Gen2 to access a variety of pre-optimized, continuously updated AI models for superior on-device AI performance, reduced memory usage and power-optimized operation. AI Hub enables faster time-to-market and other benefits of AI implementations on devices such as immediacy, reliability, privacy, personalization and cost savings.

RB3 Gen 2 also supports the Qualcomm Linux stack of operating system, software, tools and documentation developed specifically for Qualcomm Technologies' IoT platforms. Qualcomm's Linux software stack provides support for all processor cores, subsystems and components within the platform. Beginning with the QCS6490 processor, the package enables unified Linux distribution with essential components such as the Long-Term Support (LTS) kernel, enabling a consistent and superior developer experience.
