Nuvoton launches 1.7W 420nm Indigo Laser Diode KLC420FS01WW

Nuvoton Technology Corporation Japan (NTCJ) introduces the new KLC420FS01WW semiconductor laser diode, an innovative indigo semiconductor laser with an optical output power of 1.7 W and a wavelength of 420 nm.
The indigo laser diode can emit the laser light with a wavelength of 420 nm close to the g-line of mercury lamps and, in combination with Nuvoton's compatible ultraviolet semiconductor lasers (378 nm) and violet semiconductor lasers (402 nm), can be used as an alternative light source for the i-line (365 nm), h-line (405 nm) and g-line (436 nm) of mercury lamps.
The patented design and proprietary Nuvoton heat dissipation technology enable highly efficient applications, long-term reliability and reduced power consumption, allowing the KLC420FS01WW semiconductor laser diode to help reduce operating costs and downsize optical systems.
