Innovative AI Mini PCs as reference designs from Thundercomm

Thundercomm introduces four AI Mini PC reference designs specifically designed for AI-powered applications: AI Mini PC G1 Elite, AI Mini PC G1, AI Mini PC G1 IoT and AI Mini PC G1 IoT Fanless.

The new, powerful AI Mini PC G1 Elite and AI Mini PC G1 Mini PCs, based on the Snapdragon X series, are highly compatible with various hardware designs. The AI Mini PC G1 Elite is compatible with the 8-core version of the Snapdragon X series, while the AI Mini PC G1 is designed for the 6-core version.  Both variants offer an impressive computing power of 45 TOPS and support generative AI models with over 13 billion parameters. This makes these AI Mini PCs perfect for use in industrial automation, smart manufacturing, service robots and other innovative applications, as they not only enable the processing of complex tasks, but also unprecedented intelligent user interactions.

Thundercomm's AI Mini PC G1 (Elite) also features a variety of interfaces:

three USB4 Type-C (with DP support), two USB Type-A, HDMI output, SD card slot and 2.5G Ethernet. Support for Wi-Fi 7/BT5.4 and Wi-Fi 6E/BT5.3 enables ultra-fast data transfers and stable network connections, while the pre-installed Windows 11 Home operating system offers seamless use and high compatibility.

The other AI Mini PC reference designs, AI Mini PC G1 IoT and AI Mini PC G1 IoT Fanless, are based on the Qualcomm QCS6490 platform and offer 12.5 TOPS of AI performance, so they are also optimized for use in industrial IoT applications, smart factory solutions as well as edge AI systems and can deploy generative AI models with up to 180 million parameters.

With a Windows 11 operating system, the AI Mini PC G1 IoT series offers the usual smooth application and efficient workflows. Both the AI Mini PC G1 IoT and the AI Mini PC G1 IoT Fanless variant offer a multitude of interfaces for development peripherals, including USB Type-A, USB Type-C (with DP support), HDMI output, 2500Mbps Ethernet interface and Wi-IFi6E/BT5.3, meeting a wide range of development requirements.

The long-term support of the Mini PCs until 2036 also ensures a future-proof platform and reduces migration and maintenance costs. In addition, Thundercomm enables comprehensive compatibility with common AI frameworks and models from the Qualcomm AI Hub.
