Powered by the 5G-supporting Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 platform, this headset offers superior performance with enhanced graphics, AI capabilities, and 5G connectivity for more realistic and responsive next-generation VR applications. The XR2 VR HMD supports high-speed, low-latency wireless connections suitable for cloud-based VR applications and wireless “StreamVR” streaming via WLAN 802.11ax (4K90fps). The HMD can also be used as a tethered VR HMD with a USB cable or via WIFI6 to the PC for wireless rendering.

Built-in AI capabilities help to enhance the interactivity and personalization of the VR experience by supporting advanced features like hand tracking, eye tracking, and voice commands. Thundercomm XR2 VR HMD features four cameras for the camera-based 6 Degrees of Freedom (6DoF) head tracking and the option to support a 6DoF controller which allows for precise and natural movement within the virtual environment. 

Two RGB cameras for video see-through and high-resolution displays enable vivid, realistic, and vibrant visuals for an immersive viewing experience. Thanks to its ergonomic design and lighter weight, the XR2 VR HMD enables a more comfortable wearing experience and mobility.
